Beotop Innovation AB is a tech company which was founded in 2018, after long experience from automotive tool industry and development of embedded systems. The ambition back then was to use emerging technologies e.g within photonics to improve the way operators work on the assembly line. Since then, our company has approached other markets such as defence tech and the energy sector. Always using our gained insights in different technological areas to expand our offer.

Asymmetric Free Space Optical (FSO) data communication is a technology which is valuable in situations where at least one part is mobile and/or where it is important for at least one of the parts to know the position of the other part. In comparison to the "complementary", or "competing", technologies such as radio frequency (RF) based wireless datacom, an Asymmetric FSO link provides a high-speed and interference-free communication method which is also almost impossible to intercept. Our patented system for the automotive industry have been designed in a way that also constitutes a reliable positioning system.
